The Third Guy Dropped a Bomb

Yes I know, I haven't posted in a while. I was busy with New York and everything. Anyways, I decided to make this blog not just about reviews. So here's a short joke that's stupid and funny at the same time:

A plane was finally approaching a city after ten hours of flying. The pilot told the three people on the plane to drop something of theirs. The first guy dropped a used coke can, the second guy dropped a sharpened pencil, and the third guy dropped a bomb. When they landed, however, the pilot saw a little girl crying. "Little girl, little girl, why are you crying?" He asked. She responded in between tears, "a coke can dropped on my head!" The pilot comforted her and moved on to another boy who was crying. "Little boy, little boy, why are you crying?" "A sharpened pencil dropped on my head!" Exclaimed the little boy. The pilot had just finished comforting this boy when he saw another boy laughing. "Little boy, little boy, why are you laughing?" The boy replied, "Grandpa farted and the house blew up!"

The Metropolitian Museum of Art

In case you haven't guessed by the title, right now I'm in New York. So what better than to post a review on  one of the best museums in the world? 'Course, I could just post a review on the entire New York, but that would just be boring, 'cause the only thing I would be saying is "awesomeazing! phenomenal! fatastic! etc." and I wouldn't be able to think of anything bad to say about it. And there has to be at least one bad thing about anything and everything. So I decided to just post a review on the Metropolitian Museum, because I can think of a heck of a lot of bad things to say about it! No I'm kidding. It's the experience of a lifetime.
So without further ado, I present to you:
's very own . . .  Metropolitian Museum of Art!

Summary:

Go back in time, and head to the future in this magnificent museum. Located in the upper east side of Manhattan, New York, this museum is going to make you want to come back. You will be pulled into the magnificence of the art and sculptures, and even though half the statues are naked, well, yeah.

My thoughts:

It's beautiful. Magnificent. Everything you want and more. Five stars. I think you just need to be into this kind of stuff to feel this way, though. The only thing I can say is - why oh why must the good majority of the statues be naked? If I could change it, I would, except I can't so yeah.

Rated: Seriously, you can't give a museum this kind of rating!

Mario Kart 7

Something I would call the next generation of Mario Kart, in Mario Kart 7 you can't just race your favourite Mario Characters in 3D (it's for the 3DS) you can also soar through the air in a paraglider, play all new versions of races, and much more. So, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you:

 Mario Kart 7!

Summary:

I think the paragraph above covered that.

My thoughts:

Great game. Five stars. Only thing is, plenty of us have experienced Mario Kart. Instead of using all that time to make a different version of a game already invented, why not just create a new game? Anyone with me on this one?

Rating: G Just some mild comic violence that kind of has to be there.

Selena Gomez - When the Sun Goes Down

Okay, yes this is an old album. We're talking 2011 here. But I do have a good few things to say about it. Without further ado, I present to you -

Selena Gomez and The Scene - When the Sun Goes Down!

Summary:
A whole bunch of catchy songs all sung by Selena Gomez, this album talks about everything from heartbreak to PARTY TIME!

My thoughts:
I'm going to have to rate this album 3.7 stars. Yes, the songs are catchy, well-written, and especially well-sung, and yes Selena Gomez is my second favourite singer, but hello? Doesn't anyone get the impression this album shows she's growing up too fast? And just wait 'till you see this picture of her on the cover of Elle Magazine:

That's just not her!!!!

Rating: G/PG Mild language

Divergent

Now, here is something that will keep you up all night (and it did - don't tell my mom). Something I have concluded is better that the Hunger Games (sorry Ruby!) has a movie coming out in 2015, and I guarantee is the next big thing, I present to you:
 Divergent by Veronica Roth!

The second best series in the world, Divergent takes us on a roller coaster ride, and just when we get over one groundbreaking event, Roth introduces us shockingly to the next. An amazing read, well written, I give it all high praise!

Summary:
Sixteen year old Beatrice Prior comes from Abnegation, the selfless faction of five (Amity - peace, Erudite - knowledge, Dauntless - bravery, Candor - honesty). For fifteen years she has dressed in gray clothes, barely looked in the mirror, and is supposed to be willing to sacrifice her life for everyone. So when the test day comes (The day where you take a test to see which factions you are eligible for, followed by the choosing day where you stay at your home faction or enter a new world of another faction as a transfer) Beatrice is curious to find out more. Her results, however are astonishing. Apparently, she is eligible for Dauntless, Abnegation, and Erudite, meaning she is Divergent. Divergent is very dangerous, and, as the test taker tells her, she must not tell a soul of this result, only that her result was Abnegation. But how is being Divergent dangerous? What faction will she chose? The mystery unfolds in this gripping, page-turning novel.

My thoughts:
I fell in love with this book merely after reading the first paragraph. It is just so suspenseful, so gripping, so EVERYTHING! This is a must-read, the next book on your reading list. It was meant to be created! Five Stars!

Rating: PG some suggestive content, violent scenes, mild language

So what are you waiting for? Read read read!

Men In Black 3

I have to say, this movie was quite awesome. Not only did it have non-stop action, it also was quite funny, and soon that laughter turned into heartfelt sorrow when I realized what really happened to Agent J's father.

Summary:
Agent J and Agent K are agents for a secret government organization that protects the world from aliens. But what was going on before Agent K recruited Agent J as a Men in Black Agent? That's the question J really wants to know, especially when K disappears, and he is the only one who can remember him. Now, Agent J must wander into the past (1963) and prevent K from making a terrible mistake that can change the world forever. But he has merely 24 hours, and after that there is no coming back.

My thoughts:
Phenomenal. Five stars. My new favourite movie. If that doesn't sum it all up, then let me just say this movie was awesomeazing!
(I got that word from you Stef so all credit goes to her!)

Rating: PG/PG-13 (Some coarse language, intense and violent scenes).

You should definitely go see it!
